The Madison Metropolitan School District will hold information sessions for Dual Language Immersion programs for the 2012-13 school year, with the first community-wide information session this Sunday, Feb. 19 at 3:30 p.m. at Centro Hispano.

DLI programs offer academic instruction in both Spanish and English with a goal of full academic and cultural literacy in both languages for every student.

 The DLI program is open to all MMSD students, however, it is only available at the schools and grade levels listed below. Applications for the program are available at these school offices or on the MMSD website at www.mmsd.org/dli. Applications received by Friday, March 23 will be considered in the first lottery selection process. Kindergarten seats are limited and completing an application does not guarantee admission to the program.

Students living outside of the attendance area of these schools may apply, however, students living within each attendance area are given preference.  Preference is also given to siblings and twins of students already enrolled in a DLI program.
