Local Gay-Fiction Author Hosts Book Signing | Events
Verona-resident Isabella Cocilovo-Kozzi will host her first book signing and answer questions about her newly released novel, Wicked Game, from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Frugal Muse West.
At the free event, Cocilovo-Kozzi will share what inspired a heterosexual woman to write gay fiction and how her book breaks the mold of the traditional, romance-centered gay-fiction novel.
“I enjoy reading gay fiction so writing it came naturally,” Cocilovo-Kozzi said. "Plus, I was raised as an eldest 'son', so I have a strong understanding of the male point of view.”
Cocilovo-Kozzi, who writes under the pseudonym "Alex Anderson," lives in Verona, Wis., with her husband and two children. Her previous novel, Possession of Truth, was published February 2011.
