About Us
The Madison Reading and Learning Center is a multidisciplinary academic service that specializes in reading, writing, math, and study skills. MRLC is a specialized instruction and tutoring center. MRLC has teachers available for students of all ages and needs. Janice Schreiber-Poznik, the director, is a reading specialist with 27 years of experience in reading instruction. Teachers at MRLC are employed based on their experience using evidence based instruction, their extensive training, and proven success with students. The Madison Reading and Learning Center instructors are exceptional in working with students with a variety of learning strengths and challenges.

All instructors are professional, skilled and licensed educators with expertise and specialization in appropriate content areas as well as explicit multi-sensory structured language approaches such as:

- Direct Instruction

Instructors are skilled in teaching students with learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia. We also offer instruction for gifted and talented students.
We help students succeed with one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
